Q. How does the Kempenfelt Rotary Car Lottery work? The Car Lottery, administered by the Rotary Club of Barrie-Kempenfelt, is a lottery licenced by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) where individuals purchase ticket(s) for the opportunity to win a 2021 BMW 430i xDrive Coupe, as well as a Runner Up prize and an Early Bird Prize. Q. Where do the proceeds raised go? 100% of the proceeds raised are directed to Three Charities: The Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Gilda’s Club Simcoe Muskoka and The Women and Children’s Shelter of Barrie. If you meet the following criteria, you are eligible to purchase Car Lottery tickets: Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of purchase. Must be located in the province of Ontario at time of purchase. Must not be one of the following: o full-time, part-time, or student employee of Bump Worldwide Inc., owners and management of Georgian BMW/Mini-Georgian dealership in Barrie, Members of the Rotary Club of Barrie - Kempenfelt; o an employee of the Alcohol Gaming Commission of Ontario; o an employee(s) of the supplier of Bump Worldwide Inc. who are involved with the development and/or support of the Bump Worldwide Inc.; o and individuals who appear to be intoxicated. Note: Prior to the purchase of a ticket online, you will be required to verify your eligibility and that the information is complete and accurate. Q. Can I buy more than one ticket? Yes. You can purchase more than one ticket. Q. What are the odds of winning? The odds of winning the prize are based on the number of tickets sold. Q. How is the winning number drawn? A unique winning number is randomly generated and issued by the electronic Bump Worldwide Inc system out of the numbers purchased online for this draw. The mechanism for selecting the winning number is a computer-based random number generator that has been certified by the AGCO. Q. When are the winning numbers drawn and posted? The Early Bird Prize Draw will occur at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021. The Early Bird Prize Draw winner is awarded a Sony 55” 4K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV (XBR55X900H) valued at $1340.44 (including taxes and disposal fees). The Runner Up Prize Draw will occur at 2:00 p.m on Saturday, July 31, 2021. The Runner Up Prize Draw winner is awarded a Solar Cottage System (kit only) donated by Alternate Power International Ltd valued at $2373.00 (including taxes, does not include installation, ESA permit or inspection). The Grand Prize Draw will occur at 2:15 p.m on Saturday, July 31, 2021. The Grand Prize Draw is awarded a 2021 BMW 430i xDrive Coupe on an unconditional ownership basis inclusive of all taxes, freight charges, pre-delivery inspection (PDI) costs and dealer fees. Winner of the BMW must take delivery of the vehicle as awarded and is responsible for licensing and insurance from the time of delivery/ownership. Delivery of the vehicle is P.O.D., Barrie, Ontario. All ticket Sales close on July 31 at 1:00. Winning ticket number, and name and place of residence of the winner(s) will be recorded and announced immediately after the draw. Lottery winners will be notified by a Kempenfelt Rotary Club representative or by registered mail as soon as practicable after each draw. Such notification will include information about the prize claim. Winning numbers will be displayed online on the Kempenfelt Rotary Car Lottery website. Q: If I win the Early Bird Prize and/or the Runner Up Prize, is my ticket still eligible to win the Grand Prize? Yes. Any winning ticket number remains in the system and is still eligible to win the Grand Prize Draw. Q. How do I claim my prize? Prizes must be claimed by September 30, 2021 by contacting the Rotary Club of Barrie-Kempenfelt by email: winacar@kempenfeltrotary.ca The Rotary Club of Barrie-Kempenfelt will not deliver or arrange for delivery of any or all prizes. Pick up of all prizes to be in person and is the sole responsibility and expense of the winner. You must present your online winning ticket, along with two (2) forms of identification (including a government-issued photo ID). The winning ticket cannot be tampered with. The Rotary Club of Barrie - Kempenfelt reserves the right to deny winnings if the ticket has been reproduced or changed from its original state. Please note: Prizes must be claimed by the individual named in the original purchase transaction. Q. Do I need to live in Ontario to play? You do not need to live in the province of Ontario to purchase a Car Lottery ticket but you do need to be physically located within the province of Ontario at the time of purchase of your online Kempenfelt Rotary Car Lottery ticket to be eligible to play. Q. How can I pay for my online Kempenfelt Rotary Car Lottery ticket? Our online Kempenfelt Rotary Car Lottery website accepts the following payment types: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Q. I cannot access https://winacar.kempenfeltrotary.ca. What should I do? Per AGCO regulations – please be advised that you must be located within the province of Ontario at the time of your purchase. Your device’s locations services must be turned on to verify your location prior to entry to the online Car Lottery sales platform. Users must also agree to all Terms and Conditions outlined. Q. I purchased a Kempenfelt Rotary Car Lottery ticket but did not get my numbers. What should I do? If you purchased your Car Lottery ticket but did not receive your numbers, please check your junk or spam folders in the event it was flagged by your email provider. If you still do not have your Car Lottery ticket, contact winacar@kempenfeltrotary.ca and our support staff will resend your raffle numbers (some verification will be required). If your transaction completed successfully, your numbers will still be part of the draw. Q. I think I, or someone I know, may have a problem with gambling. What should I do? The Rotary Club of Kempenfelt - Barrie promotes responsible gaming at all times. TECHNICAL HELP Q. Why does https://winacar.kempenfeltrotary.ca require my location and/or why am I receiving the following prompt: Ex "https://winacar.kempenfeltrotary.ca” would like to use your current location?" Your current location is required to confirm eligibility. The raffle will be offered throughout the province of Ontario (the "Raffle Area"). Void outside the raffle area and where prohibited by law, rule, or regulation. Q. What if I already selected "Don't Allow"? Reloading the page should cause you to be prompted to share your location again. If you have specified that you never want to share your location, you will need to go into your settings to allow. See below for instructions. Q. What if I receive the following prompt: "You must allow your browser to share your location to purchase tickets, please click "OK" to reload this page, then be sure to allow your browser to share your location to share your location when prompted"?

The browser should reload the page and ask you to share location upon loading.
Note: In some browsers, the popup may say "close" instead of "OK" Q. I entered the incorrect email and did not print my tickets, how can I get my tickets resent? Please go to the Contact page and request that the raffle manager email you your tickets. Q: What if I cannot purchase tickets on https://winacar.kempenfeltrotary.ca due to location issues? You may have told your browser to never share your location. You need to change that setting to allow sale. Q. When I am trying to process a transaction it is not working? What can I do? Please remember that when you are filling in the personal information at the checkout page the address you input must match the address of the credit card that will be used for the transaction. Please ensure all fields are inputted correctly. Q. The site is not loading properly, and I am not able to get to the checkout page, what can I do? Based on the browser you are on, please go to the settings then history and clear cookies and cache. Once completed please close the page, reopen and try again. For iOS devices: 1) Go to the Settings App. 2) Go to Privacy. 3) Go into Location Services. 4) Ensure "Location Services" are on. 5) Scroll down and click "Safari Websites." 6) Make sure that Allow Location Access is set to "While Using the App." Chrome has the same setting if you are using that instead. For Android (though this may vary by version): 1) Go to Settings App. 2) Go to Location and make sure that it is on. 3) Go back to the previous screen and go to Apps. 4) Go to Chrome. 5) Click Permissions. 6) Ensure that Location is enabled. Note: If still experiencing problems, go to maps.google.com in your browser and see where it places you. IF YOU ARE HAVING DIFFICULTIES AT CHECK OUT, CLEAR COOKIES: Further instruction for each of the browsers in regards to clearing the cookies and cache. Please note that you will need to close the browser and reopen it to try again after you have cleared it. Chrome: On your computer, open Chrome. At the top right, click More . Click More tools. Clear browsing data. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time. Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes. Click Clear data. Microsoft Edge: Open Microsoft Edge, select Menu (3 dots icon on top right corner of the browser) > Settings > Privacy & services. Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear. Select "Cached images and files" and "Cookies and other site data" check box and then select Clear. Firefox: Click the menu button. and select Options. ... Select the Privacy & Security panel. In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data…. check mark in front of Cookies and Site Data. ... With Cached Web Content check marked, click the Clear button. Close the about:preferences page. Safari: From the home screen, Select Settings > Safari. At the bottom of Safari's settings screen, Select Clear cookies and data or Clear Cookies and Clear Cache.
